Houston's first diagnostic ultrasound testing facility to offer ultrasound exams(sonograms),doppler blood flow studies of the arteries and veins, echocardiograms ( ultrasound and doppler study of the heart), EKG's and Holter Monitoring (electrical signal analysis of the heart) and EEG's (brain wave analysis) directly to the patient's bed in the hospital, nursing home or patient home.
Radiology and Cardiolgy for our in house interpretations provided by Houston Medical Imaging Center's Innovative Radiolgy.
Using state of the art PAC's technology, interpretations from high resolution images are immediate.
Dunbar Diagnostics began in 1994 due to a demand by the acute and subacute hospitals in Houston, TX for mobile diagnostic testing at the patients bedside.
Over the years we expanded into leasing entire ultrasound departments, participated in the diet drug Fen-Phen testing for American Home Products - the manufacturer of the drug, and for the people who took the drug. Offices were opened in Dallas, Tyler and Port Arthur.
Today we continue to offer the same high standard of care to hospitals, assisted living, nursing homes and home health.
We gained accreditation for vascular services in the year 2000.
